Houston drivers’ evening commute ground to a halt Tuesday May 10 when a 3 vehicle accident caused multiple lane closures. All 3 vehicles involved flipped over on the outbound lanes of US59 near Shepherd. Police arrested a driver who may have been drinking: that driver hit another vehicle and caused the crashes. Witness Alicia Gainer described the accident as a “domino effect” where one car flipped over into the next.
