A 19-year old man who had just graduated high school and was going to become a U.S. Marine was killed in a single vehicle accident last night. The accident happened near the intersection of Morton Road and Rain Park Lane. Harris County Sheriff’s Office believe the Ford Ranger was traveling above the speed limit when a tire blew out causing the vehicle to begin a sideways slide into the median. The pickup then struck a tree before rolling two or three times and landing on its roof. The 19-year old driver died at the scene; his male passenger was seriously hurt but will survive.
